Terms of Service

Welcome to Tripora. By downloading, installing, or using the Tripora mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Tripora ("we," "our," or "us"). We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tripora. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account, including a valid phone number that you own and control.

Tripora uses your phone number as your account identifier. We verify your identity via a one-time passcode (OTP) sent by SMS. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your phone and any active sessions.

Tripora is a travel coordination and planning platform. We provide tools that help groups organize trips — including itineraries, polls, expense tracking, and RSVPs. That's it.

Tripora is not a travel agency, tour operator, booking service, or travel advisor. We do not arrange, sell, or take responsibility for any travel services, accommodations, transportation, or activities. All actual travel decisions are made entirely by you and your group.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Violations — including harmful or abusive behavior toward other users — may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

Tripora connects you with other users to plan trips together. Before you interact with or travel alongside people you meet or invite through the App, understand the following:

Tripora helps groups coordinate, but we are not a party to any travel plans, bookings, or agreements made between users. We explicitly disclaim all liability related to:

Expense tracking in Tripora is for informational purposes only. We do not process payments, hold funds, or facilitate financial transfers between users.

"User Content" means anything you upload, submit, or create through the App — including trip names, itinerary items, poll responses, expense data, photos, and profile information.

You retain ownership of the User Content you create. By submitting content, you grant Tripora a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and transmit your content solely as necessary to operate the App.

When you join a trip, other participants can view certain content you contribute — including your RSVP status, poll votes, expenses, and profile details. You acknowledge and consent to this visibility when joining a trip.

The Tripora name, logo, app design, and all associated content (excluding User Content) are the property of Tripora and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without our prior written consent.

If you share feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us the right to use that feedback without any obligation to compensate you or keep it confidential.

The App relies on third-party services to function. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies:

Tripora is provided "as is" and "as available" — without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tripora and its officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability exclusions, so parts of the above may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tripora and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of:

You may stop using the App at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, go to Profile → Delete Account in the app or contact us at hello@trytripora.com.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time — with or without notice — if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in harmful or abusive behavior. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify you through the App. Continued use of Tripora after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
